Shoes off . . Carpets are just for comfort to the knees.
Ceiling is . . 'retractable'. No AC in the building.
Cedar was used to deal with . . salty ocean air.
Dozens of Washing Fountains . . "To be clean before talking to God", she said.
Certain parts must be washed 3 times . . Eyes . Ears . Mouth . Feet

'Assam', the piano player of "Play it again, Sam" fame!

Bar Room "Blue Parrot" - same cafe, same movie.
We ate here, opposite this gal from Santa Fe, New Mexico,
while watching the "Casablanca" movie.
A small group of friends / relatives from Shanghai are at the long table . .
Very friendly . . speak excellent English.
"Rick's" is 2 stories, bar & movie upstairs, plus more dining areas.
Not special on the . . exterior.
Upper level . . Emphasis on atmosphere, to be sure!
Lots of peek - a - boo places, Curtains, Columns, Lanterns, Arches . .
Using the restroom in the back is a good excuse to shoot more angles.
