It's now Wednesday here.
Found a cafe with Internet, so we've just sent off un - numbered #2.
We rode the train to airport and picked up our unlocked 2 bags that are missing nothing!
Last early evening we got several nice sunset shots of the world's 3rd largest mosque.
Toured it this afternoon.
One - third of it sits over the Atlantic Ocean. It holds 25,000 people.
Met 4 tiny Malaysian gals outside on the enormous open courtyard.
18 and 19 year olds studying here in Casa for 3 years.
Speak English perfectly and made it clear we need to see their beautiful country NEXT.
We enjoyed a long photo shoot and giggle session together.
Then we decided to peek into the
movie legend of Casablanca fame . . "Rick's Cafe"
aiming to click a few night - lighting shots.
Ended up sharing dinner upstairs in the equally famous "Blue Parrot" room
where the movie plays constantly. Gorgeous setting inside.
For a film with not one minute actually shot here they have certainly capitalized on the idea
and it's bringing lots of tourism, plus providing a bundle of jobs for Moroccans.
( We're having TEA . . on . . Humphrey Bogart Blvd . . )
We'll find the little 'lightning' cord to transfer photos from Camera to iPad
so next mailing should be mostly pics.
And . . ready or not . . it's time to move South on the map.
